Dylan's Kitchen & Bar

Dylan's Kitchen & Bar is the main bar and eatery on campus, with a great atmosphere and relaxed setting.

We offer hire of our bar for both internal (University) and external functions.

During the week we can reserve space in the bar at no cost, however it will not be exclusive to yourselves.

On a Saturday & Sunday evening the bar is available for full event hire.

 

The venue is multi-purpose, and in the past we've had:

Parties, presentations, award nights, and wedding receptions.

We have a stage suitable for bands, DJ’s, karaoke, speeches etc with a suitable PA system and lighting

Dylan's holds up to 330 people, seating for 150.

(We do not host 18th birthday parties)

Cost of Hire

​

Expect to pay around £250 to hire our venue, this will depend upon the type of event, and if you are having food from us.

Normal closing time is midnight but this can be extended to 1 or 2am, for a charge of £25 per hour.

 

We try and accommodate student events for as small a fee as we can,

which in some circumstances may be free of charge. 

 

For external events we would normally insist that you have security, for which there is a charge.

This will be dependent on factors such as: day of the week, number and age of guests, and type of event.

 

All payments are expected in full no later than 7 days prior to your event.
